NSFAS appeals must be submitted within 30 days of receiving a decline outcome. Log into myNSFAS, go to the Appeals section, and submit a motivation letter explaining why you qualify plus supporting documents (updated income proof, affidavits, SASSA documentation). Common reasons for decline: income too high, incomplete documents, or administrative errors. If you believe the decision was wrong, an appeal is your right — use it. Results are typically communicated within 4-6 weeks.
